IT is a really big and gigantic industry and it is equally confusing for a new beginner in this post we’ll try to give you these top four paths so that you can pick each one of these fields.
this will help you quite a lot and for the next couple of years you can just pick up a field and can keep on moving in that so let’s go ahead and get started with these top five fields
1. Programming
now programming in itself is a really really gigantic field it requires years and years of a learning curve it’s a never-ending field every single day you’re going to see new frameworks are coming out
if you want to go for programming we can put a lot under this umbrella it requires back-end engineers, front-end engineers, mobile application developer database engineers there’s a lot going on in this field.
but the good thing is that it’s really an amazing community to work on with this so choosing programming is the best thing.
programming is one of the backbone field of the entire it industry no doubt in that a lot of people believe.
2. Data
This field includes a lot of jobs which is surrounded by data analytics, data scientist, and a whole lot of fancy names being given to the data.
now although this data field is a little bit tough for beginners to get started with no company is going to hand you over the data on the very first day as your job.
and will ask you that hey here is our entire database do whatever you like usually.
this is a transition that happens after programming but surely there are many such companies that process a lot of data which also does a whole lot of things with the data now. this is fantastic and new.
it feels which you can get started with obviously you’re going to need skills around SQL a whole lot about database queries. and also recently we are processing a lot of data using some libraries
python is really popular in that category R is another language that you want to check out with and there is a lot that happens with the data.
you will be handling a lot of business logic like which segment of the user should get an email, which segment of users should get a notification. there is a whole lot of decision that goes on with the data.
3. Devops and Cloud
somebody has written the application somebody is already managing the data as well as who is going to put things into production and DevOps and Cloud brings us to the third category in the IT field.
which is not very much related to programming so this can be a great field if you don’t like that much programming this is DevOps and cloud.
this is what it industry is moving towards cloud along with the DevOps which includes your responsibility of moving things from development to production is really amazing.
you should know that how you’re going to scale your application your servers horizontally vertically.
so if you are somebody who is not really a fan of programming and want to still connect to the IT industry you should definitely give it a try to the DevOps as well as cloud.
4. UI/UX
This is an amazing field it doesn’t require any programming knowledge although if you have a few basics about how the application is designed what’s possible what’s not possible.
programming is like having a superpower but on top of that if you add UI/UX skills it’s like having an additional superpower.
UI/UX is a long process it takes a little bit of time to understand what font works what font doesn’t work which color clicks which color doesn’t click and it’s a long process along with some of the user experience.
I think this is an amazing field which anybody can get started with IT Field.
doesn’t really is tool-friendly like you should not really bother much about should you pick up Figma for that or Adobe XD. it’s not about that it’s about having a general concept of design that you should be doing and which you should not be doing.
you start working in that, this is a great and growing field.
everybody needs a make a brand on top of the designer. if you have UI/UX skills you’re gonna kill it.
so these are the top 4 growing industries in the IT field. you can pick up now all of these segments are gigantic and are gonna require at least two years or three years to have a friendlier nature.
when you pick up you can actually explore more in-depth about these fields probably are going to be one of the things that you’ll be doing forever or at least the next five or ten years in your IT life.
now all of the things these fields are having amazing potential amazing salaries and job roles.
